It has everything you need for an overnight backpacking trip for you and your group - all packed up and ready to go! Whether you’re heading to the Angeles National Forest, Joshua Tree, or beyond, our kits include top-quality essentials like lightweight backpacks (50–70L), 3-season tents, sleeping bags, pads, compact stoves, and cookware.

Please note: Premium kits have the same items included, but with an Ultra-lite tent and sleeping pad.

Backpacking Kit Includes

Adjustable backpacking packs in various sizes to accomodate your group. Sizes: 55-75L.

Lightweight and packable backpacking tent to accomodate your group. If you select a premium kit you will get an Ultra-lite tent.

Yes, many of our rental packages can be booked last-minute, depending on availability. For best results, we recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance. However, we understand that plans can change quickly, and we do our best to accommodate urgent requests whenever possible.

What brands of gear are included in the rental?

Kits feature gear from top brands including MSR, Big Agnes, REI, Kelty, Thermarest and others. The specific equipment you receive in your kit rental may vary.

Do you offer delivery or pickup for camping kits in LA?

Once you are matched with your lender you can coordinate pickup / return of the equipment.

Can I rent a backpacking kit for multiple days?

Yes! Our backpacking kits are available for daily, weekend, or multi-day trips. Whether you're planning a quick overnight hike or a week-long trek, we can tailor the rental duration to match your itinerary—just select your start and end dates when booking.
