Refer friends and get rewards

Our referral program rewards you for helping make the outdoors more accessible. A quick summary of how this works is below.

If your refer someone who lists gear for rent on the platform we will send you a free GeerGarage hat as a thank you.

If you refer someone who rents gear, you will get a 10% commission for the first rental transaction that your referred person makes. So, if the referral pays a total of $100 to rent gear that first time, you will get a $10 commission. Refer a few people and this will really add up!

Commissions will accrue as more people you refer participate in rentals. You can use your commissions in two ways:

• We donate them to the Protect Our Winters organization. This organization is a community of athletes, scientists, creatives and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations.
• We send you an REI gift gard for the amount accrued.
