Watersports
When the weather is warm and sunny, and you’re eager to get a little wet, the hardshell sit-on-top kayak is great fun. Sit-on-tops, as they’re commonly known, are primarily used on lakes and easy flowing rivers for casual activities. You can also use them on warm coastal waters. If you feel claustrophobic inside a cockpit, these kayaks might be more comfortable. Most hardshell sit-on-tops have scupper holes that self-drain water and are typically heavier than sit-in kayaks.
