If you want to eat some hot foot while you are camping you will need a stove. Fuel may or may not be included with the rental so check with your lender prior to gear pickup.
How to choose
Car camping: These stoves typically have multiple burners. Due to their size, they typically work best on a surface, like a table or tailgate. Also don’t forget to bring the proper cooking implements on your trip, like a skillet, pot, and spatula.
Backpacking: These stoves are lightweight and pack in well with the rest of your outdoor gear on a trip. In the backcountry, use your stove to boil water for drinking or cooking. Check with your lender on whether any pots / pans are needed with their stove prior to gear pickup.
