Description
Probes are an essential item to have if you plan on venturing into the snowy backcountry. If a member of your party becomes buried by an avalanche, a probe can be submerged into the snow to find the exact location of the submerged person before you dig them out. When used in combination with your beacon and shovel, a probe can save lives.
